About us
Marcia Kretschman took over ownership in 2002.  She had a car built by Barnard Racing, which was driven by Bobby Ermark.  In 2003, Marcia teamed up with Mike Quintiliano to run at Stafford Motor Speedway.  The team posted 16 top 10's and 15
top 5's with 2 wins and finished 2nd in points; 4 points out of 1st.  Patrick Kretschman, crew chief, received the Craftman 2003 Mechanic of the year award for the New England Region.  In 2004, Mike Quintiliano again wheeled the car.  The team started the season with winning the first three races.  Out of 19 races; Mike started 18 races; had 4 wins; 13 top 5's and 15 top 10's.
The team finished 2nd in points.  In November, 2004 , Mike Quitiliano resigned from driving the #48 Kretschman Motorsports Ford Taurus.  For the 2005 season we, as a team, finished 6th in points with three different drivers.  Scott Ritter, crew chief, received the Craftman 2005 Mechanic of the Year Award for the New England Region.  For the 2006 season we had two cars available - #48 & #08.  We acquired Woody Pitkat to pilot the #48 Kretschman Motorsports Ford Taurus.  The #08 was a backup car which ran a few races driven by Tom Butler and Chuck Docherty.  The #48 won the Stafford Motor Speedway Late Model Championship with 6 wins; 14 top 5's and 14 top 10's in 17 races.  Scott Ritter, crew chief, received the Craftman 2006 Mechanic of the Year Award for the New England Region.  In 2007, Woody Pikat piloted the #48 Late Model to a 3rd place point finish with 2 wins; 12 top 5's and 16 top 10's.  Scott Ritter, crew chief, received the Craftsman 2007 Mechanic of the Year Award for the New England Region.  For the 2008 season, Ryan Posocco piloted the #48 Kretschman Motorsports Late Model and led us to our 2nd champioship and Ryan's fourth championship.  In 17 starts we had 7 wins: 14 top 3's; 16 top 4's and 17 top 10's.  Our average finish was 2.5.  Woody Pitkat piloted the #18 Kretschman Motorsports Late Model for four races with one win; 2 top 4's; 3 top 10's.  Scott Ritter, crew chief, received the Craftsman 2008 Mechanic of the Year Award for the New England Region.  For the 2009 season, Ryan Posocco will be piloting the #48 Kretschman Motorsports Late Model for the full season and a driver to be determined will be piloting the #18 Kretschman Motorsports Late Model for select races.
